Carter and Company
was founded by M. H. Carter in 1928.   
The agency was developed by Jack E. Carter,
the founder's son.  It has been at its current location at
522 E. Crockett Street in Luling since 1952.   Today the third generation agency partnership is managed by the grandsons of the founder, John S. Carter and Carl E. Carter.
Another grandson, Richard A. Carter, is an associate agent specializing in medical, life insurance, and financial services.
